In a verbal communication with Glen Phillips at Cafe' Largo, March 28th
2003, he gave permission for Toad The Wet Sprocket shows to be hosted on
archive.org.
Glen, through Steve Smith had previously given permission for his solo shows
to be hosted at the archive.
Per his communication, any legally traded Toad the Wet Sprocket show may be
hosted.
Toad's policy allowed Soundboard recordings prior to their latest tour which
started on 12/4/02. So, no soundboard
recordings past and including 12/4/02 will be allowed for posting.
Toad's policy regarding demos has always been that they are not allowed to
be traded and this will hold true for archive.org. DO NOT POST ANY DEMO
RECORDINGS OF TOAD THE WET SPROCKET. Toad views their demos as private
material
and with a band that has been so generous about the sharing of their music
do not violate their privacy.
No official live release material will be allowed on the archive. Toad
reserves the right if a live release is
made available in the future to ask that the corresponding audience
recording is removed from the archive.
Thanks,
Chris Berryman
Policy Notes
(added by unIDed patron)
